DS Group rewarded for innovation in ICT services

Rome, June 12, 2012: Every year during the National Innovation Day in Rome the “Prize of Prizes” is awarded to the country’s most innovative products and services. This prestigious award was established with the permission of the President of the Italian Republic and organized by Confcommercio with the aim of highlighting the best innovative and creative capabilities of Italian companies, universities, governments, corporations or individual inventors.
DS Group, a leader in the design and development of innovative cross-platform and multi-device applications on mobile devices, has had the pleasure of receiving the innovation in ICT services award for “businessPad and Generation” services and products.

“businessPad”, a software platform and “Generation” a service, allow large, medium or even small companies to rapidly deploy company information through the internet to both tablet and traditional computers across multiple platforms as tools to support employees in the field, such sales forces, field engineers, consultants and retail store management.

Mr Romeo Quartiero, CEO of DS Group, while receiving the award, said: “We are proud of this award that witnesses how our company has always been an engine of innovation in mobility since July 1997 when we presented to the Italian market the first business solutions on handheld devices.
